The Creative Pen is a Saint Petersburg writing studio devoted to the craft of words - editing, storytelling workshops, and custom written works created with care.
The Creative Pen occupies a quiet corner of Saint Petersburg's creative community, dedicated to the oldest and most portable of all arts: writing. Founded by Tirena G Chiavacci, the studio serves authors, students, professionals, and anyone who has ever stared at a blank page wishing for a companion in the work.
We believe writing is both a craft and a conversation. Craft, because it improves with practice, structure, and honest feedback. Conversation, because every piece of writing - a memoir, a speech, a business story - exists to reach another human being.
Our studio work falls into three streams. First, editing and manuscript feedback: line editing, developmental notes, and gentle but honest guidance for works in progress. Second, workshops and coaching: small sessions where writers of every level build habits, overcome blocks, and find their voice. Third, custom written works: speeches, tributes, family histories, and personal essays crafted on commission for life's significant moments.
